2015 was a crazy year in professional golf.  The Grand Slam was possible and ended up only being a few strokes away for young Jordan Speith.  But enough of old news, what is going to happen in 2016?  Here are my bold predictions:
– a Canadian will win on the PGA, LPGA, Web.com and Mackenzie Tours.  This will be a first as far as I know.
– Rory will win at least one major but not the Masters, that will wait until 2017
– Jordan will have a great year, but it won’t match 2015 (it would be very hard to!)  He will come close at all four majors but will be shut out.
– someone over 35 will win a major and talk of experience over youth will come out in the media
– there will be talk of steroids or other drugs on the tour but nothing proven
– Dustin Johnston will not win in 2016.  He will only make one cut in the majors
– Jason Day will win one major (most likely the Open)
– Lydia Ko will have a down year and another teenager will emerge
– someone (Adam Svensson?) will win 3 times on the Web.com by June and then win on the PGA

Check back in 12 months to see how wrong I was!
